Just learned today from another forum that one of the members have passed away from heart attack on Thursday.
David Cramer: I have started to enjoy his work, especially his SandHill Cranes shots from Bosque.

He will be missed.

Very shocking news!

That was the ironic part. I saw a post by someone congratulating him on the recent published work, and then minutes later, another post announcing his passing.
It felt weird today, make you appreciate life event more and at the same time, how short it is. So, go out and shoot as much as you can.

This is shocking and terrible, I really feel sad. He just commented on my photo on Thursday :(

David also kindly sent me lots of nice samples from a Nikon lens that I was interested in, he always left nice comments for my photos.

My deepest thoughts and prayers for David, friends and family.

A loss for the entire BPN community.

This was such sad news and so sudden. David was so fit and healthy and full of life. He will be missed and my next trip to Bosque will not be the same without his guiding sevices and his companionship. It was a pleasure to have known him and to have photographed with him.

I don't know how I missed this sad news, but I was just informed by a fellow photographer in the field yesterday. I am shocked and saddened. I had not met Dave in person but spoke with him by phone when I was at Bosque in November. His talent and love for wildlife, especially the wild horses, was amazing. He personally encouraged me and gave me some guidance about shooting in New Mexico.

He will be missed by us all and his passing is a great loss to the community.
