Immobilized by low alpine temperatures this Silver Xenica is in a state of 'suspended animation'.

Canon EOS 3, Canon 100mm macro, ISO 100, pre-sunrise natural light, 4secs, F16, Tropod.

I would rate this your best dew image yet John and the background is superb. Well done! I would clone out bit of the plant falling off to the right.

Lovely shot John. Dewy to the extreme! That blue/green background is unusual. The more I look on this forum the more impatient I become for winter and spring to arrive.

I enjoy these a lot. They look like blown glass ornaments to me. So delicate. Very nice.

I agree on loosing the bit to the right.

Hey John, another excellent image, the patterns in the wing is very cool. You can't beat dew on a critter shot.
