American Wigeon drake

I have a few other Wigeon keepers but like this one a lot because of the water drops. Unfortunately, this is not a particularly good looking individual. The green on this guy was much less pronounced and so was the forehead stripe. All opinions welcome.

Excellent angle Kaustubh, and just love the pose. Comp works well, and lovely pastel colours in the BG. The droplet puts this over the top. Well captured.

Nice low-angle portrait with good eye contact, and BG. The suspended water drop really adds to the image. Might try cropping a bit from the top, also some sharpening on the head. Most wigeon drakes do have more green in the stripe behind the eye, so maybe this was a juvenile?

I love the pose and BG/water colours. I would crop a tiny bit at top...just enough to hide the darker part of the brownish band (about half the overall said band). I would also selectively sharpen the water drop more. Awesome details, and great low angle! Although some may be more colourful I am OK with this guy's plumage.

Great shot Kaustubh. Well exposed, sharp and the droplets from the beak adds more to the image. I prefer a little crop from the top.

Simply superb shot . Loved the frozen droplet on the beak and the BG also nicely blurred.
