Completely focussed on ducks right now. They'll be flying off soon. 40D. 400f5.6 at f/6.3. iso 400. 1/1000s. Could have stopped down further to get the full duck in DOF range. But I wasn't sure how blurred the BG will be as I was not real low.....and as there were a lot of ripples, I wanted a good blur.

All critiques welcome and appreciated.

Well exposed with nice detail in whites and most of the blacks. Nice head position,eye contact and sharpness.

The yellow eye goes very well with the blue water.

Thx. everyone. I dont get bored of shooting these guys. I guess its also because soon they'll be leaving for their breeding grounds. The eye of this duck really makes a big difference in the photo.
