A great white egret couple getting into position, as seen from a canoe.
Sony a700, 70-400mm @ 330mm
1/1600, f5.6, ISO320, very little crop on bottom and right, removed the back of a pelican's head behind some mangrove leaves.
Thank you for looking.

Looks like she is saying ouch!
Sharp and well exposed. Wish the light angle was a bit more over your shoulder to even out some of the underwing shadows.

I might be tempted to crop in just a bit from the left, and if you have a bit more clean below, I think that might work well.

Nice work from your canoe!

Connie, nice work from a canoe! The underwing shadows aren't that harsh and give the wing feathers some texture in my opinion. It would have been great if you could have setup a ladder in your canoe to get a higher angle (some of her legs in the frame would be nice), but I doubt that is very practical. ;)

Great whites and agree with Judd in the soft shadow creating dimension. IMO it could use more room at the bottom to fit her virtual legs.
I wouldn't try the ladder in the canoe trick though :)
