Photo taken in Roatan on coco view wall at the depth of 120 ft. Everything in this photo is alive. It is a colony of live coral and tunicates
Mastering bouyancy control is essential in U/W photography so you don't damage what is so fragile.

Hi Daniel Mighty fine image !!! Roatan is one of my favorite places !!! These tunicates are pretty spectacular !!

I like the flash coverage/position Just wish you could tone down the area on the upper right. I always had trouble with these since some parts soak light while others reflect ... not much you can do. Exposure looks good and all is sharp, very good dof !!! ... great going on keeping the back scatter to nothing and sure hope you got plenty more !!!

Hi Daniel,
Nice to see these underwater stuff. Have never been down there, but am really fascinated by these colourful corals. I agree about toning down the highlights a bit, however, I think it is not easy balancing yourself and creating a good image. Look forward to more underwater images.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

Thank you all for the comments. Going from slide to print to the computer was destructive but I still enjoy the image as it hangs on my wall. More to come
