Still learning to use my new 500mm lens, I made this Image from a nuthatch in my backyard.
I used two extension tubes and had to add some canvas at the right side.
Mark III / Canon 500 / 4.0
f 5.6 / 1/250 sec. / ISO 1600

I Iike the tight composition,BG and the pose,I would sharpen it a bit!

I like this image Rosl. Sharp details and the pose is nice. The bird obviously knows that you're there. I might like to see a very little space added to each side but I would be pleased with this one.

Looks sharp and well exposed but a bit too tight in the frame for me.

Nice look and colours. I agree about being too tight in the frame and think it could use just a tad more contrast....

Thank you for your critique. I had the same feeling about the bird beeing too tight in the frame, but I was not sure about it.
I have to get used to the new lens, and I have to change some elements at my feeding station, cause the birds come too close to me....
I'll try a bit more contrast too. Thanks!
