This was difficult to pull off, with the monkeys never sitting still tripod use was out of the question.

Hi Chas, the concept works and at 1/20 etc I take my hat off to you:)

The comp is right, however my eye keeps getting drawn to the water, but I don't know why?:confused: By cropping it then the eye is drawn to the subject, but you then lose the concept. Struggling on this one, however the ball is in my court, not yours.:)

I really like the movement added by the stream and the spark in the monkey's eyes - stands out from the usual, somewhat lethargic Snow Monkey shots. Colors blend nicely, too.

I love the unconventional comp on this one also Chas. Great colors and nice touch going with the intentional water blur for something different again reminding all of us to slow down and look at things in different ways. Well done. TFs

Hi Chas... love the overall comp and inclusion of the environment. My eye is drawn a little to the stream, but I think this image is showing a lot more than just the animal, which still pops with it's sharpness against the blurred water. Great work as usual. :)
