From this morning.. The 1st serious photography session with my new 1DMk4. Caught this sage grouse landing in front of me just before touchdown.

Very nice perspective! I just listened to a radio interview from a gentleman that lives out in your part of the country talking about the diminishing numbers of the Sage Grouse and how its getting close to being put on the endangered list. I would value time spent with these birds, thats for sure. :)

Hey Artie,

Central sensor only on this one. Still need to do a lot of testing with the new camera but so far it seems very capable.

Dale, superb pose and low angle. This is the only angle in which it could have come out this well. Well done.
