Today, it was sunny after all the rain, we went to Plymouth to see if we could find the Red-headed Duck. It has been present before but across the pond. Today, however it decided to join the Mallards very near to us and we were able to get some good pictures. The pictures just had some canvas added to the left, otherwise no PS adjustments

Sharpness looks good. A lower angle would be nice, as would more of a profile view of the bird. I might have pushed the exposure an additional 1/3 to the right.

This was taken in a parking lot which is five feet above the pond straight down I was at the lowest angle that i could get. I will add a little more exposure to see what it looks like thanks

Myer, you froze this very well. agree with Doug's comments. Since you could not go lower, you did the best you could. Thx for sharing.

Cool pose, good sharpness and I also like the soft light and only wish for a lower angle if that was an option.

Like the pose and the lighting. I agree with Doug that the exposure could have been pushed just a bit.

Lower angle would have been nice, but I know it's not always possible.

Perhaps a higher ISO would have gotten the shutter speed up and you likely could have opened up a bit which would have helped with the right wing blur.
