Nice pose. Exposure looks good. The bird looks somewhat oversharpened on my monitor. And I would remove the rusty-colored twig behind the beak. Perhaps a little more canvas on the right.

Beautiful pose, HA, and colors against the snow. Doug's comments nailed it. Habitat is very nice except for the twig Doug mentioned (and while at it, I might be tempted to remove the small OOF ice-covered twigs at L and UL of the bird. With those adjustments and a bit less sharpening this is a real keeper in my book.

Yes, the puffed ball looks a bit oversharpened and the BG is taking away from the image.

Thanks for the comments. I have a tendency to oversharpen (in Lightroom, no photoshop yet) that I'm working on. Failing vision isn't helping.
