Processed this one a while ago after our September 2009 Kalahari trip.

I think it's a nice image to share for those who haven't been there yet. This shows the expanse of the red dunes forming the "banks" of the dry Auob riverbed in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The wildebeest add a nice sense of scale.

All comments welcome.

Looks like a very unforgiving landscape/terrain. Amazing how things survive out there. I wonder how a horizontal would look here, a scape.

Very inhospitable looking environment. Agree with the landscape idea. Did you make one in that format also? Thanks for sharing a look at an area I have not been able to see as of yet. A little sat boost would be nice. TFS

I really like this habitat image with the wildebeest adding the scale. I too would liek to see a landscape format version to compare.

I would keep this as a vertical mate, shows the scale of the landscape behind the WB. I like the colours.

thanks for the kind comments everyone - I will go and see if I took this as a landscape as well, I specifically went for the horizontal here to give that sense of scale in height of the animals versus the trees versus the dune.

Morkel, right on on the exposure. Love these scenes. Would shave off 1 cm or so off the bottom and add the same to the top, and maybe a sliver off the right.
