I made this at Middle Creek on a cloudy day. I really like the blueish hills in the far background.

Love the braking feel to this one, Axel, ailerons down, primaries up, head angle just right. I like the progression of whites from the nape to the body and leading surface of the wings. Lovely steel-blue BG. I have really enjoyed your entire sequence of snows and Canadas - just beautiful!

Nicely composed, exposed. I enjoy the subtle slight diagonal lighter streaks in the BG behind the bird. Gives it a slightly ethereal look.

Love the background/sky on this one.
Detail in the whites and blacks are great. There is movement in the image (not just a 2-dimensional photo).
As comments above, the composition is good, as it accents the wing span, drop of legs, and eye contact with lower corner.

As always, very well done.

I like the incoming landing posture, showing the full wingspread. The backlighting on the underside of the wings and fanned tail adds interest, and of course, like your other image, he stands out so well from that darker BG. Well captured.

A stunning shot. Fantastic BG, wing pose and light.
I would add a tiny little bit of canvas at the left to get the same distance of the wing-tip to the edge on the left as on the right.

Thanks, Markus! I put the bird a little to the left in the frame because of the head pointing in the other direction. I can see your point, though.
