I like the perch, singing pose, angle, sharpness and BG. I would only try to get more details in the blacks, they are partially blocked and remove one of the catchlights.

lovely detail, pose, perch and exposure. agree on pulling some more detail from the blacks...

A lovely bird, both time in UK, I missed this species...nice sharp, composed image...I agree about the blacks but only on throat and belly, head to me looks fine...tks for posting it

What a lovely bird and BG! Love those lichens too! a bit more sharpening on eye would make this one better IMO.

The blacks on the throat and belly, are partly in shadow, so I don't think I can do anything about them...The light was a little harsh.It would have been better if it were cloudy...I also have some shots from the same day, with a less harsh light, but not in this singing pose...:)
