Hi Mark,

A lovely portrait with strong eye contact and concentration. The light and DOF adds to the mood.
I would crop tighter to get away from the square crop personally.

Hi Mark... I really like this, with the variable light and illuminated face - a great intent stare that you've captured too. I think I'd play with crop as some others have suggested to see how it might look. Nice work!
