I went back to Middle Creek yesterday. There were still 120,000 Snow Geese and they were quite active. In the BG is a hill.

Axel - I think the landing goose is very nice, especially with the light coming through the fully extended wings. The dark sky behind is a terrific bg. The oof geese on the grass doesn't quite make it for me - probably personal choice.

Really nice image Axel, great wing extension and the Goose stands out nicely against the BG.

The dark bg is very nice and you captured the bird well. At first I didn't like the backlighting, but with a second look, I like the effect on the wing and tail feathers.

Like the extended wing pose and the backlighting coming through as well. Like the ground at the bottom of the frame. Seems to give it some nice balance.

Beautiful wing spread and you have got all the details in the whites on the bird and the black wing tips, even with back lighting. Love the blurred birds in the lower part, indicating its environment. Great job.

I like the backlighting, and the goose pops so well from the darker BG. The OOG geese below dont distract, but I feel if the whole BG was the darker mountain, it would enhance this even more.

Very nice Axel, good wing position and nice show of environment (oof geese add to the image here) might just sharpen the head a tad more, well done.
