Nice portrait, I like the soft light and eye contact and might give it a bit more room top and left. The reds look partially overexposed.

Thanks Axel - I knew as soon as I clicked "Send", that I needed more room above. Unfortunately there are no 'real' pixels on the left side. Thanks for the comments. Much appreciated.

I does seem a bit tight, but what a great portrait nevertheless. I do like ther vertical crop for this, really neat to see the neck feathers.

Hi Gail Good looking young bird !!! Like the selected crop for the portrait PS wise just reduce saturation in the red channel then darken reds a bit !!!

... btw with that soft bg would raise ISO and stop down a bit more !!!

Great detail Gail, I think a little more room on the left would look nice. Great iridescence on the neck feathers.

I like the detail, and agree on more room left and top. I would maybe sharpen the head a little more.
