Hi Arash, "just a coot" thats pretty well exposed. I like the detail, and good job on that very difficult beak too.

Details in the blacks (check) --beak not blown out (check) -- red eye (check) -- good job on this common but hard to photograph coot.

Coot is a very hard bird to expose and get all the details. You have nailed it perfectly.

Nice photo Arash. It looks like you have gotten the Coot sitting nice and still. Calm.
Very well done on the exposure.
On these subtle ha's, I can't quite tell whether this one is toward us, square to sensor, or slightly away. All I know is I want to turn the bird slightly toward me.

Arash, very nice dynamic range here. Only suggestions are lower angle if possible and a pnao crop with a little more room in front. Coots, when in water, are quite "short". I find that the best possible shots come by putting the camera and lens on the ground....or slightly raised. Its an excellet shooting subject.

Exposure and details look good. I would like a slight head turn towards you though. Perhaps a bit more room in front of the bird.

Beautiful shot of this fellow. Perfect exposure with details in both the black feathers and the white bill (this is not always easy with Coots).
Like Doug, I would like to see a slightly better head angle towards the camera.

Great job on the exposure, Arash. I love the feather detail you were able to get even though the lens was wide open. I also would have liked a lower shooting angle and better head angle, but the feather detail.

A very nicely detailed and exposed image. Well done.
