This is taken at Ojibway Nature Center in Windsor. It was too tight at the bottom so I extended the canvas and the branch in front of the tail. The perch isn't ideal and the light is from the side a bit but I couldn't move over. All C&Cs are appreciated.

Great bg, color goes well with the understated hues of the bird. The angle of the light doesn't bother me, she looks very gentle. The stick through the tail is amazingly distracting.

Nice feather detail and I like it when I can see color in the eye

I think the light works and the stick at the bottom doesn't.

Nice soft light, good details in the feathers, I like the raised crown. Snip the stick.

I agree with the others, Jim. Everything works well - except the stick. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. The stick kills me too and I will try to remove it.

Much better and very good job on the removal.
I also like the light and perhaps it add somes texture to the feather details.
Nicely done.

I like the soft light, and you have captured good sharp detail. I also like the complimentary grey OOF BG. Well done on the repost.
