Tough bird to capture for me.
Nice pose and perch. Good detail in the feathers, claws, and eye. Like the background.
If mine, I might crop a bit from the right side of the frame and lighten the eye - personal preference, tho.

Agree with the crop but I like the catch light in the eye

Really like the pose and head turn in this capture and agree that taking a bit of canvas off the right would strengthen this image. Wonderful BG to set this beauty off and good color and detail. Fine capture Phil and thanks for sharing.

Gorgeous light falling on a great specimen. Another vote for taking off the right side. Great detail in the plumage.

Nice image- I like the looking back pose. The only thing I can add is to clone out the dust spot just to the right of the fellow.

I would agree with taking a little off the right, but otherwise this is an excellent image, Phil.

These guys are so hard to get sitting still. This is just wonderful. Agree about taking a tad off the right. On my monitor the right side of the head seems a bit soft?
Very nice.
Cheers

Love it. I'd go along with a tad off the right. Despite many visits to the USA I've not managed one decent shot of these birds.
