Wow, I like this. The background is so clean and the bird is in focus and stands out and appears to be singing. Did you use anything to get him singing?

Sharpness, light, singing pose and complementing BG look very good. I would give it a bit more room and wish the head were parallel to the sensor.

Duane - Agree with everything said above: perch, pose, sharpness, bg. Lovely shot. These guys are beginning to sing up a storm in my neighborhood, and love to pick the most prominent perch from which to welcome spring. Well done.

If I gave it more room then some would say the perch is too big....which it actually is and the reason it's croped this way. Thanks for your opinion though. ;)

Thanks everyone else...nothing was used to get this Wren to sing. I had to wave my hand to get it to make eye contact with me because of it facing away. I have other poses but the Wren was facing the other way and the crop shows more of the perch.
