i have toned down this image to be a more realistic version...

Hi Peter,
Combined critique from Dave Mills and me from Florida!......We feel all 3 work well for different reasons. This one has a nice pop to it but we both feel the brightest area on the right should be toned down a bit.....just to not draw the eye and let the eyes wander to the peaks. Lovely detail and contrasts in the sky too!

Peter,

I agree with Roman and Dennis.

If some additional processing from the RAW could get better control of the highlights, I suggest you rework this image for that as Roman suggested.

of the colour versions this one works best for me Peter, although overall the B&W takes the cake :)

did you alter the sky at all? it seems as if some edges around the dunes show levels signs of selective levels adjustments? I would be tempted to hammer this one with a pseudo-HDR workup!

The picture, compo etc is very nice but that blue sky is way to blue for me.

Thanks Roman and Dave appreciate you both taking time out to comment on image , agree 100% on the RHS ,whites need toning down.
