This is two of four cygnets born last year. The six of them are a tight unit. Quite shy at first they will readlily accept food from everyone who brings some.

Nice image Jackie as composed, looks like an overcast day, flash helped getting some detail on first bird, first cygnet sharp, like the head turn..to bad back one isn't a little sharper, but thats just me...

Only time I got near one of these youngsters, the parents came at me....

Keep them coming

An interesting composition Jackie and good for you to get them lined up, looking different directions and still have good ha's.
A pano crop of heads and necks might look all right also.

I like the idea, composition and sharpness. Are these juvenile trumpeters?

Yes, trumpeters have the black beaks, mutes have orange.

Thanks, Jackie! I was not entirely sure since immature tundra swans look similar and I have never seen a trumpeter swan.
