Canon 7D with Canon 500 f/4, AV mode, ISO 800 (guess I could've gone a bit lower!), 1/3200s, f6.3, +2/3EV

Love the excellent wing position and pose, might move the bird a tad to the right in comp. chest areas seems to be lacking detail and there is noise in the BG. TFS

The low angle is nice and you've got good sharpness. The pose is a little awkward. I agree that you could have used a lower ISO, and that the BG has some noise. I probably wouldn't have gone with +2/3 on a subject like this; neutral or even -1/3 would have been my preference.

I so like that the head is clear of the back wing. Nice detail in near wing.
It is odd to have so much noise with that camera, exposed to the right, modest ISO. Was it so noticeable in the raw?

The comp works for me.

I like the wing pose and the composition. The few water drops are also a nice addition. I agree with the others about the noise.
