From this past weekend at Fort Desoto an egret fishing in early morning light, this morning decided to go minimal and walk around the lagoon with my 100-400 only .. worked out great !!

Love the pano crop.... Excellent detail and great morning light. I just got my 7D, looks like it is much better than the 50D I sold.

The AF is totally different and works great !!! ISO is much better and the camera feels more solid !

When you need the reach is a good alternative to the Mk4 ... has seen lots of use !!

I like the pictures clarity and simplicity. Clean foreground and background. Exposure techs are perfect the 7D is fast too!

Hi Gus

The lines are reflection from the water, can see them just in front of the bird !!! As the light becomes stronger they disappear !!!

Now that you pointed them out I see where they come from.

Thanks for the heads up. Also noticed the high speed you used to stop the water in mid air :cool:
