This North American Red Squirrel isn't as brightly colored as the European ones that Paulo has been photographing, but they have plenty of personality and are my favorites to photograph. :) This one was attracted to a feeder setup. 40D, 500 f/4, 1/80, f/6.3, ISO 400. All comments welcome and appreciated.

crisp details and love the pose Steve...DOF also works well and the lichen helps make the picture pop.

Real cute one. superb BG and the lichen covered perch, sharpness and facial expression makes it for me.

Hi Paul. No nuts required, but sunflower seeds work great. :)
