This was an image taken last week at Viera. There were two adult bald eagles and one juevenile flying around the area. No matter how many times one has the opportunity to see these beauties it is still a thrill.

I'm with you about never getting tired of photographing eagles. Nice sharpness. Good exposure control. Do wish for a better head angle.

I like the banking angle of the eagle. Nice capture and great wing span. As above, I never get tired of eagle photography. In this image, I don't mind the straight on head - to me it shows the direct line that eagles take when flying. It has an intent stare and the eye is well focused. If the head was angled it would, for me, look out of place.
Do wish the wing tips a bit lighter but not sure if there is a season for the eagles when the wings are more brown vs. gold hues.

Judy, loved the pose, comp and sharpness. It wouldn't be right for me to comment on the whites from my office laptop, but they look a little bright to me. But lets wait and see if others see it that way. I might be wrong.
