getting ready for HB season. one from last year. the flower is a Salvia sp.

Very nice Phil, I guess with a set-up it makes things 'slightly' easier to nail the target:D

Very pretty. Nice pose. Overall composition feels a touch centered to me. The negative space on the right is a little heavy for my tastes. Gotta Love hummingbirds!!

Very nice photo. I like pose and overall quality of the image.
If there is enough resolution on the file, I would try a tighter crop leaving out the lower portion of the plant.
Just curious, did you shoot this hummer in the SF Bay Area?

Luis, hummer was in East Bay area last fall. It came to our feeders for a few days only.
