Here's another from South Texas. I captured this little fella at Estero Llano Grande park yesterday. This was one of the species I really wanted to get on this trip so I was pretty happy :)

Hope you enjoy it

Really nice. From what I remember back when I was in AZ, these guys are not easy to get close to. Looks great to me on the smooth BG.

I like this image. Excellent DOF. Love the saturation. Not crazy by the perch :D

Gorgeous image !
I'd be more than "pretty happy" with this one !
Great job on the exposure and controlling the intense red.

Only possible improvement I can see would be maybe a bit less of a head turn
(or a different body angle) so the bill would be more against the background but
that's really nitpicking.

Beautiful photo Glenn. I'd love to get this close to a Vermillion Flycatcher.

Hey Glenn,

Man, this is nice. What makes this image for me is the excellent clean BG and the bright RED. Excellent work!

Gorgeous is right. Beautiful image Glenn with excellent lighting and detail. I would personally like to see a tad bit more room on the top but still awesome as presented.

Lovely, Glenn. The light spots on the perch catch my eye a little - might try gently burning those in. Lovely colour and BG

Well that's a keeper! :)

The BG really sets the stage and the color of the bird tops it off.
