A lovely story indeed. They look like they are enjoying the water.

Well portrayed here Ken, with this herd making use of the dwindling supply. Perhaps a selective increase in contrast on the herd?

As already said - tells the story. And after some thought I think the one on the left really adds to that story and the shot as a whole.

Sorry Paul, the one on the left doesn't do anything to the composition, especially as it's 'truncated', or cut in half. If the herd was a tad more central with a hint more at the foot then it would be better. It needs more in levels/curves to give it more punch and depth, however the two elephants on the lhs are soft which does sadly spoil the image. Quite a nice interaction Ken.

Thanks for the comments.
Just out of interest the "waterhole" was illegal as it was pumped, but it did bring a lot of game in, probably dry now as the camp has closed.

I like how all of them are angled towards you. Light looks fine. I feel a little more space on the right will work.

A beautiful story of these pachyderms, Ken. Love the way they are all converging into a vanishing point on the waterhole.
