Dear all

Made this with D300, 600mm, f4.5, ISO 200, 1/250 , beanbag, in Pench NP , You may remember Tiger chase programme on Discovery shooted in Pench
Grass blades in front of eye may be distracting but not to my eyes :)
All comments are welcome and much appreciated
Harshad

ps , I dont remember if I have posted this before , but if so please enjoy

Harshadbhai, what a wonderful and large cat you have captured here. you have brought out the colours very well, and just love the sharp detail on the head. Great eye contact too.

I like the diagonal cut by the tiger across the frame, the BG and of course the pose and the cat herself. I do find the grass blade in the eye irritating though :(

Hi Harshad,

Another lovely tiger image, showing the environment well.
I would prefer the grass blades not to be in front of the face and wish that the tail were not partly covered by the tree. Did you take another a few seconds after this one ?

I love the colour - of the tiger and the background. A beautiful shot. There are perhaps in the end a couple two many obstructions for me, but the power of the look and the pose still shines through them.

I like shots of animals in their habitat, so the grass itself is not an issue, but if the blade that crosses the tger's right eye could be removed back as far as the nose it would probably be an improvement. It's a great angle overall.

Nice lighting, eye contact, colour & detail, small nits are the cut tail and I would have cloned out the grass blade across the eye. Would love to have this all the same. ;)
