I like the light, pose, angle, BG and eye contact. I might sharpen the bird a bit more if it is not a heavy crop.

Nice photo Bonnie. As far as cc...I like it as is, at first I was tempted to say the branches may distract but to me it helps to add a sense of the environment. Maybe a bit more DOF as the rear talon is a OOF. Nice image though, I'm jealous.

Love the colour rendition here . The pose is great too. I am not sure about why you chose ISO 1000 when you had such great light ? Would have liked it on a tripod on lower ISO , if it was possible :)

Great shot. I like the light, the wonderful background and the fantastic wing pose of the raptor. The raised leg is a great addition, as is the vegetation in the foreground.
I agree with Axel on the sharpening.

Love thses complementary colors -- background is scrumptious and I like the perch -- very pleasing shot

I really like the pose, Bonnie, as well as the overall color tones of the image. I would agree with Axel that you might try a little more sharpening on the bird. Well done.

Like the pose and overall tones in the image Bonnie.

BG looks tad noisy and the bird does look as though it could use some additional sharpening.

He does like that perch, doesn't he? :)

Bonnie, I find this to be a stunning capture. Love the light, the FG, the BG, the behavior. Wish it were mine!
