5D, 28-135mm @ 30mm, 1/25sec, f/22, ISO 200
OK, same composition as last time. I didn't move the tripod, just waited for the light to change. I thought the one with the foreground in shade looked better. This seems too harsh to me, but there were some suggestions to have the foreground in sun.
Comments and criticism.

Either way, I think it's an interesting composition. I couldn't really choose between the two, so I played with a combination ...

What David did! It appears he did lower contrast than you did. Chime in David to gie us the animated version ( I love them!).

Thanks. It's just layering.
#1 masks out the darker image selectively to let the brighter image show through.
#2 (curves) brightens selectively
#3 applies a warming filter selectively
#4 (hue/sat) darken across the bottom
