I am on a very slow public computer on Midway Island in the middle of nowhere (aka the Pacific Ocean) with nearly a million birds. The colors of all of the images I have viewed look pretty darned accurate on the very old monitor and that includes this image. I would go for a crop from the left and the top. Good job with the body and head angles relative to the slight sidelight. I love the narrow d-o-f and the resulting BKGR.

I second Artie's crop suggestion. I am not sure if the bird needs a little lightening up. I dont recollect how this bird exactly looks. Very good pose and BG. must be fun working at that focal length on 7D.

this days my territory becomes so hot as from morning it starts throwing heat from land. kind of particles in mid air between 500 and subject always makes me cry now even at 8am in morning :(

Nice capture. I like Artie's crop idea. I too wondered about lightening the bird but I have never seen one in person so have to leave it to you as you were there. TFS

Very interesting looking bird.
Nicely exposed and I like the composition.
I might also look a sliver off the bottom.
On my monitor which is a new laptop the photo seems a bit dark, but that could also be me and the new laptop.

I set white point and black point. I'm not sure if it's better, but it is clearly different.

David's repost has the right colour rendition. Lovely capture , dude. The intense look on the face of the bird looking for a grub adds a lot to this one.

Mital, looks very good. But some noise has come up in the BG that you might want to remove.
