My first Chickadee in flight capture. I wish tha BG was nicer. Hope to get more soon.

Nice wing position, like the dangling feet, well exposed.

BG issue covered.

The bird doesn't look quite sharp on the head. Were you prefocused, waiting for him to blast off? You certainly had enough shutter speed to freeze him.

Thanks Randy. No I was not prefocused. These little guys were flying all around me and I caught this one just at the right time.Never sitting still for to long. I hope that the weather gets better here soon, grey skies, so I can get out a practice some more.

Nice catch. I have tried several times to catch these birds in flight - fast as you note.
Agree with Randy that the wing position is nice. Also think wing detail is nice as well.
Love the feet.
The background could be softened with a vignette blur filter in NIK software, if you wanted.
