I like this a lot. Great composition, light and mood. Are these your footprints?

Very well composed Charles and I like the tracks leading the eye into this snow scene!!

A well executed image. Note Chas' use of spot metering. I loke the deep blue in the sky.

Great image Chas, super clean whites. How is the AF on your 1DsIII? Any problems vis-a-vis the 1DIII? I am hoping for some feedback from others before I commit to my own in the next month or two. Good luck in Baja...

Lovely composition and the exposure is spot-on! There are some specks in the sky that I would clone out, but other than that its perfect.

I always feel a bit reluctant to pick a nit with a Chas shot because it's so seldom possible to do so (like you're criticising God) but in this case I have mixed feelings about the foreground and the tracks. Nothing necessarily bad but I think the shot is even stronger almost as a square from the top making it clean and mean with a little bit of footprint action to boot!

Hey Dick,

LOL...

I think square works, as well. Rest assured I covered it from every aspect I could think of.

Best Amigo,
