Video captured with the Canon 1d4, edited in the new iMovie, didn't figure how to make the music track I used come up in the saved file. Uploaded to YouTube directly from iMovie, kind of cool.

Big Time good Fabs and the new iMovie works much better than the previous. I think this is the 09 version.

Very cool Fabs! Nice quality, great to watch on HD TV!!! wish it had sound or some music. Very stable tripod, is this the 500 or 600?

600/4 with 1.4X :)
Yes, my next step is to add music and nice transitions and text.

Thanks!

Very very impressive. Especially 600 with a 1.4TC.

Fabs, this is too cool, I started playing with the video function last week in NC and was hooked. Maybe someone could post something basic in the How-To Forum on the video-workflow to move things along?

Enjoyed this, Fabs, especially after seeing the Coot for Dinner image on Avian. I like the solid base, leaving all the motion to the eagles. Agree with Jeff, how about posting some basic "Here's how to do bird videos..."? We're all learning...

Thanks guys, I don't think I know enough for a tutorial yet, but planning on getting good soon.
Alfred assigned the little fel button on my 1d4 to video, so i can easily start taping. To end, just press the center of the wheel in the back and your on to images.
I locked the tripod on the action and used iMovie to edit. Now there's where I have to get more time and figure all the sweet tweaking you can do, can even crop!
I don't have a fluid head, so when I move the head it's going to have to be from the base and very gently.
