Great pose, color, and detail here Jeff. Nice to see some grass and sunshine.

Maybe you could have used a post-crop vignette to tone down the edges of the BG?

Hi Jeff Appealing pose and food makes it that much better ! Exposure looks fine, just lots of light colors in the bg .. I like the suggestion for the edges, will focus attention on the bird !!! Sweet capture !!!

Hi Jeff - like the pose and the food!
Like the suggestion to darken the corners - will focus the attention on the bird.
Sharp - exposure looks good.
Good Show :)

Love the low angle look, the food in the beak is a big plus, and you did very well in capturing that beautiful pattern on the wings, very beautiful. I might consider sharpening on the face a bit.

Hi Jeff....nice capture! The low angle is great. i too think that some darkening of the edges would be helpful!

I found this guy hunting acorns in the state park. Great advise given, I will try and repost with the suggestions.

Hi Jeff. Great pose and head turn, and the acorn really makes it. I might consider taking a bit off the left side, as well as the suggested vignetting. Well done.

Hi Jeff, You beat me on the repost. I wanted to show a different way of presentation. I wanted to focus in more on the bird so I cropped out a portion of the image. I also selected the backround and brought the brightness down a bit.
I like the birds angle and the fact he's holding an acorn....

David.

Love the repost, maybe a tad tight - looks better IMO more attention on the subject - thanks.

Hi Jeff Here is my take on this one Just a little darkening of bright areas, tiny on the bird and lightening the eye I like the slightly tighter version Dave posted, maybe a tiny less crop !! Like I told you, a good image any way you slice it !!

Al eye looks better, agree with you and Dave on composition - thanks.
