HI Troy! Nice capture....I like the sharpness of the picture and the simple background. I also like the way he is looking down on me from above. How did you get so much Depth of field at f4?

Thank you, Bob. The angle of the shot made it possible at that fstop and still works.

I see some halo around the owl and the perch. Having said that, good sharpness and details. I think the eye could have a little more brightness/contrast. Composition-wise, I think you could remove some of the empty space around it.

Desmond, thank you.
Where is the halo that you mentioned?

I think I did say where it is in my first post. Anyway, it's the kind that could be caused by sharpening that I see.

Thank you Desmond, I will be careful on the sharpening.

Thanks for sharing, steep angle causes eyes to collect shadows. I like the simple subject and setting. Was this underexposed and corrected in post +.33 seems low for a bright sky BG - nice find.

Jeff, yes, it was low light, and was a dark shot. I saved it because it is simple, not a lot of trees around like most of the owl shots I have. ;)

Yes, the BG is clean for sure.

This is after sunset, I wish the color of the sky was not that washed out.
I will do better next time. Thank you for your comments.
