Know the area well! I like the textures and colors you have captured along with the simplicity of the lone tree. The inclusion of the fallen/covered logs is also a nice touch! Very nicely done!

Hi Todd, I like the layering within the image along with the tree which adds a center of interest. I thought the image was a bit dark and I brought your image into PS to show another alternative. You reduced the image to such a small size I couldn't work on it.

I agree, all around this came out well for the reasons mentioned. I particularly like the strong diagonals in the image and the vertical accentuates that strength well.
