One more from the IPT, In Placida this time. Normally this type of image is done with significant uderexposure because you are in the direct line of refection from the sun. Using the DOF preview button in your camera may help save your eyes from the excessive glare. I kept playing with the s/s to change the degree of under exp and to my surprise, this is my favorite, with 1/3 overexposure, bringing the stars out much more. Some black added to the blacks in Selective color.
Yes, I know I could have lowered the ISO, but when I'm concentrating in a creative process, techs are the least of my worries. Anyway, I read somewhere where a photographer sid he wished he could capture everything at 1/8000 :D

Very cool image, I like the copper color of the light very much.
Also the stars diffracting into the bird's body are creating really cool effect.
Twinkling good:)

Hi Fabs, I love it, very artistic. I love the star effect on the water highlights. I also find the light reflected on the bird's neck to be very interesting. I especially like how the bird silhouette edges are softened by the stared highlights. Well seen and captured.

I love everything about this one Fabs, especially the vertical trail trail of the light and the fine tinkles on the spectral highlights.

I think the addition of the blacks made this one really pop in contrast to the highlights.

Cool idea Fabs! The only thing I wish this had was more of an outline of the bill as it kind of blends into the black. :)
