Lake Placid and The Mountain

I made this image during a recent meeting in Lake Placid NY. The light on the mountain was good, but the shadow on the lake was a pain. I lightened the shadow with a screen layer about a stop. I wish it weren't there, but OH Well!

1D MK4 with 17-40 @ 40. Evaluative metering @ ISO 100 and f 9 and 1/60, EV +1/3 with mirror lock up and 2 sec timer and polarizer. Full Frame.

Another nice LP image Ed. Got to love that snow atop Whiteface. Is that snow on the lake or the shadow that you lightened?. I love the blue water but I may take that light post and the fence out on the lower left.

Thanks Nick. It is indeed snow. I was up to my knees making this image. The light is a pain. I really didn't want to clone it out as I am trying more and more to do as little image manipulations as possible. I framed the bottom as it is so as not to have even more human stuff visible.
