I have an Epson R2400 and an Epson R3800 Printer.

Do the inks for these two printers use the same formula? OR

Are the inks for these two printers interchangable?

I have a lot of bulk ink for the 2400 and was wondering if it can be used in the 3800.

Thanks for your help, Jim

Jim I am not sure what you mean by bulk. Fed by hoses?? The only difference between the 2400 and the 3800 is that the 3800 uses vivid magenta while the 2400 just uses magenta (not vivid). I think all the other inks are compatible. Where did you get your ink in bulk???

Jackie, I bought my bulk (cis) ink system and the ink from Media Street which has since been sold to I think ink2
so media street carries only photo frames. Thanks for the info Jim

James I am assuming they are selling you pigment inks. Is it hard to set your printer up for bulk. I have the 2400, just checked their site and don't know how to go about it. Must be quite a savings in INK as the 2400 cartridges are only 12 ml.

Google "Inkrepublic" I think they bought Media street out. It is a big savings. Jim
