Just been having a trial of CS4 and really like the fine tuning using the Vibrance/Saturation combination.
Pity Vibrance is not available for PSE. Used a Vibrance 10/ Saturation 15 combo.

Ian, Lightroom has clarity and vibrance controls. Have you tried it?

Hi Ian, I took the liberty of working on your image. First off the image was very underexposed. I lightened the cloud area and was curious to see if this would work better as a B/W so I converted it. Next I took out alot of the black neg space on the bottom, telephone wire and roof peak and tried to concentrate on the 2 primary areas of interest in the image. Very often a simple image can be the strongest image...

I think you will like Lightroom, Ian. :)I also have PSE and have only scratched the surface of what that program can do. CS4 is so expensive!

I like what David M. did. I agree that the underexposure messed up getting a good looking color image here, the the B&W is a good idea.

Hey Ian,
Very good advice given above. Dave also did a nice job removing some of the distracting elements.

Thanks Robert & Roman for your advice. Much appreciated.
Felt there was still a passable image lurking in there.
Added Levels adjustment, Curves and some Topaz Detail 2 presets.
Cheers : Ian Mc

Just acquired the new Topaz Adjust 4 which has USD $10.00 off for a while and a Vibrance preset.
