Difficult species to expose, you have done very well. I like the low angle, the raised foot and the species.

Thats a fair sized beak Kiranbhai. Good sharpness and exposure, and the raised foot adds to the image.

Agree with above comments. Only thing to add is that, on my monitor, I am not seeing detail in the blacks. Is this apparent for anybody else?

Agree with all the positive comments. I would try a little bit shadow/highlghts and maybe even lighten it.

What a beautiful bird - a new one to me. Love the raised foot and moving water. Detail in the whites looks great. Comp and HA lovely. Only nit is abovementioned lack of detail in the blacks, but a beautiful image.

Kiran, thank you for sharing this lovely image of a bird that I have never seen. Love the raised foot. Your exposure looks good. I would like to see a bit more detail in the blacks, but I am guessing that the lack thereof might be result of jpeg compression? Are these birds endangered?

Thank you all for your kind words and valuable suggestions,
As a few of the members mentioned above, agree that the black has lost some details in compression will rework.
@ Grace: there are not endangered but are sure rare, there are only nine known nesting sites of these beauties in the world. also a very special thing about them is that they are the sole representative of the family Dromadeidae (single in the species).
