Photographed at noon , the elephant was far away & there was mirage , hence the softness .

Like the concept here, a great subject, but B&W and centered comp doesn't do much for me Vinay. He certainly is a big tusker!

Hi Vinay I am with Marc here. The B/W conversion is too flat with no real contrast or detail and as you say, the Tusker is soft, compounding the issues overall I am afraid to say.

I would have to agree with Marc and Steve here. Great subject. I would recommend a tighter crop that acceuates the elephant better but still maintains the large area at top. Vertical crop much tighter with the elephant in the center also works. As presented, a loose crop with the subject in the lower center is not working IMO.

Can't say that any better, and this shot is def' worth some TLC to get the best of. :)
