Greetings,

Made this image in August last year. This bird came pretty close to me as I was hiding behind a bush. Appreciate your views and suggestions.

Beautiful bird, and I like the curving perch. I do wish for a better HA, and find the web(?) distracting. The yellows are hot (clipped) here...desaturating the yellow channel in Photoshop by 12-15 points does the trick to bring those back in check (this also reduces the lower plant's "glow"). A bit much negative space above too. Love the striking eye, and you got a beautiful green BG to set this awesome specimen off!

The yellows look a bit hot . Would agree with cropping the top off . LOve that curved branch and the spider webs make this one interesting ( for me ) .

Hi Madhav

You are not doing any justification for this beautiful image, by leaving that much dead space above the bird. Crop that dead space and see how the bird pops. Yellow on the upper part of the chest is a little hot, but can be fixed easily. For me the branch the bird sitting on, the web and the plant below, all complimenting the picture, as this is birds habitat.

Hi Madhav,

It is almost looking perfect. Yellow on the chest looks fine now. Gorgeous colors. Crop the top part only a little more, so that the space above and below the bird are almost equal. This gives a balance to the shot. Just move the picture with your cursor on the monitor screen to cover a little more of the top space and see whether you like it. This is a simple way to check the crop.
