I took this photo of the Great Blue last week at Wakodahatchee.
It was late, just before the sunset. I like the symmetry of the bird with its plumes are being blown by the wind.
You also can see the feathers of one of the chicks in the nest.

Canon 7D + 500L + 1.4x TC.
1/640s, f/6.3, ISO 800.

In terms of PP, I just cloned out a branch that was going around behind the heron and used my regular flow.

Hi Luis: Love the light on this shot and agree that the plumes look great. I wish there were a little more space on the top and bottom.

Interesting pose and light, I also like the BG and agree regarding more room top and bottom.

Really beautiful lighting with a unique pose. A little more canvas at the bottom would strengthen this image. Thanks for sharing.
