Couldn't resist this one Ken ;)
The white area in the water by the ice is part of the decaying whale carcass the bears were feeding on.

Just checked through mine, plenty of tongues out but no ripping flesh. That will teach you to be on team leaders boat:):)

The water and the detail in the fur is excellent. I agree with the composition comments.

Very good fur detail and exposure on the bear Steve, with the low angle, curled paw/sniff enhancing this image.

Nice curving lines created by the neck, head, and raised paw. Colors and details are excellent.

I like the composition and although a little more might have been even better, everything is in the shot that needs to be. Pose, action and detail are special.

Neat shot with excellent detail Steve. If you have more of a wide shot that shows more of the whale that would be really cool as well, I think it would tell the story better.
