Sweet image with fine detail in the duck. I might tighten the crop a bit and darken the BG as well.

Very nice sharpness, exposure, and head angle on the duck, Mike. The patterns in the water are interesting, but to my eye, looking at the image as a whole, the water starts to overpower the bird. This is partly because the water is so light - especially in the upper left quadrant. You might consider selectively darkening the water overall and/or cropping some off the top to eliminate the brightest area. I think this would give you a more dramatic image. :)

Great detail in the duck. I agree about making the BG water darker.
